A syntax colouring programmer's editor for program languages, scripts, HTML, configuration files, and documentation. With an FTP client and transparent support for DOS, UNIX, and Mac file, PrEditor allows you edit any file anywhere. Built-in project support allows you to organise your files the way you want. With pre-defined syntax colouring for most popular languages, it can be easily configured for other languages and file formats.

It has pre-defined syntax colouring for most popular languages including C/C++, C#, Perl, Java, Basic, HTML, SQL and pascal, and can be easily configured for other languages and file formats.

Built-in project support allows you to organise your files the way you want, and provides for tools integration (such as compilers, linkers, HTML validators, etc.) to build your projects. User preferences and menu, keyboard, toolbar customisation together with a flexible tabbed user interface, allow you to set up the editor the way you want. Macro record / playback helps to automate repetitive tasks, advanced formatting tools, plus regular expression find and replace give you complete control over the text you are editing. The comprehensive HTML help provides detailed guidance on how to use PrEditor to its full potential - editing in Living Colour.
