Backup Windows Servers to a range of backup destinations such as Tape, REV, External Hard Disk, NAS, DVD, FTP and using BackupAssist. It automatically schedules your backups (full, incremental, or differential), implements media rotation, sends results and reminders by email, and make it easy to perform tasks like custom scripting. BackupAssist gives you business-class data protection and a true alternative to products costing much more.

Looking for software to make your backup tasks simple? BackupAssist is the cost-effective backup software option for SMBs. BackupAssist makes backups and data protection simple by performing automatic, scheduled backups of Windows Servers. It integrates with different industry standard technologies to offer a variety of backup engines for file, system and application backups. It also includes in-built integration with Microsoft?s Windows Backup Utility (NTbackup) to allow users to backup files, folders, system state and Active Directory. Drive imaging functionality with hardware-independent, bare-metal restoration on Windows Server 2008 is also available. Internet based backups using the Rsync protocol can be achieved via the Rsync component of BackupAssist. Applications such as Exchange Server and SQL Server can also be backed up. Exchange Server can be backed up at both the Information Store and the Individual Mailbox levels and SQL Server can be backed up through daily or near-continuous backups. Fast differential backups for file copying and file system mirroring can be performed with the File Replication engine. Need a replacement for NTBackup in Windows Server ?08? BackupAssist provides tape drive support on Server 2008 with the BackupAssist Zip -To-Tape Add-on at a fraction of the price of other solutions. It?s VSS aware, gives you fast ZIP64 compliant backups with data compression on the fly and 256-bit AES encryption so you can even password protect your ZIP backups. What?s more, BackupAssist can make life much easier for I.T. Service Providers by helping consolidate client accounts and multiple backups through the unique Centralized Monitoring Console.
