UIFriend provides easy and powerful quick resolution changing, intelligent protection of your desktop icon layout that works behind the scenes to keep your icon positions safe, improved desktop aesthetics with double buffering and customizable icon text colors, display setting management for users sharing a computer that prefer different display settings, and increased screen saver power with on demand activation, mute and auto-resume.

UIFriend is a handy Windows utility that makes it easy to change screen settings to fit each user's needs and whims. With just two clicks, you can change your monitor's screen resolution, color depth, and refresh rate.

With UIFriend's customizable menu, the display settings that you use most often will be available for you to switch between whenever you need to. It's easy to use the program's quick resolution changing feature to tune your monitor to your mood, or to the tasks at hand. The program also remembers the location and layout of your desktop icons, and it correctly restores them as you move among display settings.
