The dangers of smoking are very real for both the smoker and the non-smokers around them. But quitting the smoking habit is hard. Not only is the smoker addicted to the nicotine, but to the habit associated with pulling out the cigarette and taking their cigarette break. I quit smoking the hard way, cold turkey, but now there is an easier way that allows you to step down the nicotine but still mimic the smoking habit without the smoke. Enter the new generation of electronic cigarettes, the SmokeSitk.The SmokeStik is a battery operated cigarette that looks and feels like a real cigarette. The SmokeStik contains a cartridge filled with liquid nicotine, glycerine, propylene glycol and optional food grade flavoring. When the smoker inhales, a tiny battery creates a vapor atomizing the nicotine and the flavoring that gives the smoker their nicotine hit. The resulting smoke that is exhaled is water vapor without any harmful ingredients or the smoke smell. There is even a small light at the tip of the cigarette that lights up when the cigarette is puffed.My friend, Tracy, recently purchased her first pack of SmokeStiks and has been very pleased. Not only did she get the satisfaction of her nicotine when she smoked, but she did not need to even smoke as often to get the same results as her real cigarettes. The nicotine cartridges come in a gradual step down strengths so you can eventually quit the habit all together, if you want. She also found that the SmokeStik will be cheaper that the real cigarettes in the long run because each SmokeSitk cartridge is good for 300 puffs or around 30 real cigarettes.Real tobacco smoke contains over 4000 chemicals such as, ammonia,arsenic, benzene, butane, carbon monoxide, lead and more, many of which are know carcinogens. The electronic cigarettes do not burn nor do they contain tar. They only contain water, propylene glycol, glycerine, nicotine and the optional flavoring.
