River Past Crazi Video for Archos is a batch video converter specifically designed for Archos portable players.

Convert video from DVD chapters, 3GPP/3GPP2, ASF, AVI, DAT (VCD), DivX, DV, FLC, animated GIF, Matroska MKV, QuickTime MOV, MP4 (MPEG-4), MPEG-1, OGG Media OGM, RealMedia RM/RAM and WMV to Archos.

It automatically set the video resolution, audio sample rate and channel, and video and audio bitrate for you fit the Archos screen.

You probably have found that your Archos portable video player doesn't accept all the video in your collection, and even if Windows Media Player accepts it, it will give an annoying "Server Exception" message when you sync your Archos player.

River Past Crazi Video for Archos is the easiest way to convert your video and audio for your Archos. It accepts a wide range of video formats - 3GPP, 3GPP2, ASF, AVI, DAT (VCD), DivX, DV, FLIC animation, Animated GIF, MKV, MOV, MP4, MPEG-1, OGM, RAM, WMV and Xvid, and output to Archos compatible WMV video file. You can also extract audio from those video formats, or convert AC3, AIFF/AIFC, APE, AU, FLAC, MP3, MPA, MPC, MKA, OFR, OGG, RA, SD2, SHN, SND, TTA, WAV and WMA audio to Archos-compatible WMA audio.

It can convert from un-encrypted DVD, from individual chapters or several seamless chapters as one unit.

Different Archos models have different screen resolution, and it can play video with higher resolution on TV. Other software will always scale the video to 320x240.
