The standard MIDI converter may be able to change one of these small files of poor sound quality into another format but Direct MIDI to MP3 can do that and more. First, the program can do the conversions ten times faster than other programs. This is good news for users with large numbers of file to convert. Users can also adjust the sound of the files and save the files in several formats, including MP3, WAV, and WMA.

MIDI files were once the most advanced music technology for computers and mobile phones. Today, it is the equivalent of "elevator music."
