Uranium Backup is a full-featured data backup software: TAPE backup, Drive Image backup, disk imaging, Disaster Recovery, ESX, ESXi, vSphere backup, bare metal restore, System State backup, backup on NAS/RDX, DVD/Blu-ray writing, FTP/SFTP/FTP SSL upload and download, online backup, zip compression, synchronization, AES 256 bit encryption, SQL Server backup, Open file backup, backup of virtual machines, integrated scheduler, e-mail notifications

Disaster Recovery (Drive Image backup and Bare Metal restore): Uranium can make complete images of the system disk, in order to allow a complete recovery of the operating system and of all configurations (bare metal restore). Available on Vista, Server 2008 and Windows 7.

ESXi, ESX, vSphere Backup: Uranium Backup is an easy-to-use and flexible software to back up VMware ESX virtual machines. Uranium requires a few seconds to install and can save virtual machines even while they are running (hot backup).

Tape Backup: One of the simplest and most versatile tape backup software in the world.
Compatible with any tape format (DAT, DDS, DLT, SDLT, AIT, LTO, etc...) and any tape drive interface (SCSI, IDE, USB, SAS, etc...).

SQL Server Backup and recovery: MS SQL Server database backup (including Express Edition), with integrated zip compression and encryption. It allows to schedule an unlimited number of database backup and restore tasks and copy backup files to Tape, DVD, FTP, LAN, etc...

FTP / SFTP / FTP SSL - Upload and Download: Uranium can backup your data to remote computers using FTP(S) or SFTP connection, with zip compression and encryption. You can also use these functions to automatically update one or more web sites or to download entire web sites. Complete FTP(S) / SFTP Client application included.

Backup to disk, NAS, network, zip compression, synchronization: Copy of files and folders to local disks, external USB/Firewire/SATA hard disk, NAS server, RDX Drives, network computers, etc... Zip compression, encryption, deletion of old files and a large number of options.

CD, DVD and Blu-Ray Burning: Uranium can write on any type of optical media

Synchronization, Run as Service, Zip 64, Volume Shadow Copy, Strong AES 256 bit encryption, Unicode.

Portable and lightweight.
Compatible with Windows XP, 2000, Vista, Server 2003 / R2, Server 2008 / R2, Windows 7, SBS 2011 (32 and 64 bit)
