A step by step utility to resize your picture collection. Choose manual or wizard. With wizard, you simply provide the memory size of the target device or disc and then squash the images by specifying either the resolution (dimensions) of the target images or the quality (compression level). The program will then make the best guess for the corresponding settings. Or choose manual and specify the dimensions and compression yourself.

One Cat Image Squasher provides a simple to use step by step procedure to resize your picture collections. Choose from two methods: manual and wizard. With the wizard, you simply provide the memory size of the target device or disc and then choose to squash the images by specifying either the resolution (dimensions) of the target images or the quality (compression level). The program will then make the best guess for the corresponding settings. If you are more adventurous, you can choose the manual method and specify the dimensions and compression yourself. When complete, your newly squashed images will be ready to go. Features: Resizes single directories or entire collections; Fit-to Wizard can fit images by resolution or quality to a memory size; Very easy to use step by step procedure. Every year brings better cameras, with higher resolution pictures. But with each advance in resolution the size of images increases as well. While high resolution images are great when printing out pictures, most display devices don't need this level of resolution. LCD displays rarely have a resolution of more than 2 megapixels, meaning typical viewing of these images does not require the extra resolution and disk space present in the original pictures. By using One Cat Image Squasher to resize the images in your collection, you can store more pictures in a smaller space and simply archive the larger originals. The advent of handheld devices such as PocketPCs, Sony PSPs, and integrated MP3 players (like Archos), provides even more opportunities to show off your pictures. Of course, these devices don't have a large amount of disk space. Utilizing the fact that mobile devices have even smaller resolution displays, One Cat Image Squasher can fit huge picture collections in very limited space.
